ASTPAI - Neues Album "True Capacity“ am 22.06. / "Best Years"-Musikvideo / Tourdaten

"Best Years"-Musikvideo

Sänger Zock kommentiert:
"‘Best Years’ was one of the first songs/lyrics written for the album. I remember feeling incredibly low and difficult to deal with at the time - like stuck deep down in a well of self loathing and self-disappointment that I just couldn’t climb out of. My mood has hit such a low point, that the person closest to me needed to put some distance between us, to not end up being sucked in with me, which literally kicked off the writing process for this song. It really helped me reflect on how I’ve been acting and reacting to people around me and that the change I was waiting for needed to be initiated by myself and no-one else. Also, it taught me that someone distancing themselves can be somewhat more constructive than unconditional support - at least in my case."

"Justice de Julia II is definitely one of our favorite tracks on the album. It's one of the oldest songs and it shaped Brutus as a band. We feel really connected with this song and it's super intense to play live."

Nach all diesen Jahren fanden sie jetzt endlich die Zeit um ihr Debütalbum 'Risha' aufzunehmen: “David and I have been admirers of each others work for some time. We first got to play together for The Glasshouse, a movie project initiated by my wife Danielle de Picciotto and during the brief resurrection of Crime & the City Solution all three of us were involved with. Shortly after I worked on Wovenhand’s Laughing Stalk album as a mixing engineer. We became close friends during these very diverse collaborations and started talking about creating music together, which would combine electronics with ethnical instruments and overdriven guitars with oriental rhythms and scales” sagt Alexander Hacke.

“What I love about David is his approach to words and music, which to me seems to be all about tapping into a divine source of inspiration and to leave all profane concerns and conventions behind in order to create some true and truly great art.

"He has been a part of my life for so many years, long before I ever had the pleasure to meet him. I am a fan to say the least. He has been more than an inspiration to me. He is a true talent and I have the utmost respect and admiration for him as a person and a musician and all that he has been a part of. I have listened to religiously and learned so much from. When we finally did meet the image I had of him was only made greater, in person he is so kind and patient and generous, intelligent and such an all around bad ass“ sagt David und bestätigt damit umso mehr, dass zwischen diesen zwei Künstlern eine ganz besondere Verbindung existiert.

( Sumerian / Ada Warner)

May 11, 2018 – Jonathan Davis of Korn, whose previous musical contributions have yielded two GRAMMY® Award wins, eight GRAMMY® Award nominations, worldwide sales of 40 million-plus, has released a new song, “Basic Needs”.  The third track released from his debut solo album, Black Labyrinth, out May 25 on Sumerian Records, follows the previous releases “Everyone” and “What It Is.” “What It Is” is currently Top 5 on the Active Rock Charts debuted as the #1 most added single on Rock radio.

The new track, “Basic Needs,” continues to echo Davis’ imaginative and genre-bending approach to

Black Labyrinth. The album represents the beginning of a new chapter for the Bakersfield, CA singer, songwriter, composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. It also comes as a natural step in his evolution, inspired in part by the Ganzfeld Experiment, and the out of body experiences and hallucinations that often accompany it. Davis quietly compiled ideas for what would become this solo effort beginning back in 2007. Writing and recording on the road, he personally contributed guitar, keys, and anything else he could get his hands on to the record. Moreover, the music was primarily recorded live, a departure from Korn’s heavily calculated, meticulous, studio approach to creation.

Davis is no stranger to finding success while pushing the boundaries of music. Throughout over 20 years in music, his presence has coursed through film scores, popular video game franchises, and official remixes for the likes of Steve Aoki and more. Along the way, he has also lent his voice to tracks for everyone from Linkin Park to Tech N9ne.

SEVENDUST – Neues Album „ALL I SEE IS WAR hat heute VÖ & neues Video online.

RELEASE MUSIC VIDEO FOR THE TRACK  “MEDICATED” FROM THE NEW ALBUM “ALL I SEE IS WAR“ NOW AVAILALE WORLDWIDE

(New York, NY) – Heavy metal legends Sevendust have unveiled a new music video for a third song from their 12th studio album, All I See Is War. The album is now available worldwide via Rise Records. “Medicated” is the latest track released and the video for the song can be seen here: https://youtu.be/nLKp7bG--os.

“Medicated” follows in the footsteps of the recently released “Not Original” and debut single “Dirty.” The first single is currently moving up the active rock charts landing in the Top 20 at present. The video for “Dirty” has been viewed over 2.2 million times since it was released in mid-March. The video can be seen here: https://youtu.be/8avjkSoRSbk.

All I See Is War has been receiving critical acclaim with the Associated Press recently raving: “There are some people who sneer at hard rockers Sevendust, expressing dislike for the metal band for its lighter tones and stylistic changes. To which we respectfully say: blow it out your ears. The album is available in various physical configurations via the band’s merch store at www.sevendust.com as well as via all digital retailers and everywhere music is sold. All I See Is War is available via Apple Music and Spotify and fans can head to https://RiseRecords.lnk.to/AISIW to find out more information. The new album was recorded last Fall and was produced by Michael “Elvis” Baskette, known for his work with Alter Bridge; Tremonti; Slash; and others.

Sevendust is currently on a headline tour in support of All I See Is War. The tour will make stops in Joliet, IL; Memphis, TN; Dubuque, IA and Kansas City, KS among others. Memphis May Fire, Fire From The Gods and Madame Mayhem will be joining Sevendust on the run. Fans can go to www.sevendust.com for more information on the tour, VIP packages and ticket purchase links.

In 1994, Sevendust first forged a familial tie amongst each other that translated into one of the most diehard audiences in the game. To this day, the connection between fans and the GRAMMY® Award-nominated gold-certified hard rock outfit only grows stronger. For their twelfth full-length and first release for Rise Records All I See Is War, the quintet—Lajon Witherspoon [lead vocals], Clint lowery [lead guitar, backing vocals], John Connolly [rhythm guitar, backing vocals], Vince Hornsby [bass], and Morgan Rose [drums]—did the best thing they could possibly do to combat all of the division in the streets and on social media; they went and made a Sevendust record—just bigger, ballsier, and bolder than before.

A trifecta of now-classic gold albums—Sevendust [1997], Home [1999], and Animosity [2001]— ignited their journey. Known as an equally intense and unforgettable live force, they’ve consistently packed houses around the world and decimated stages everywhere from Rock on the Range and Woodstock to OZZfest and Shiprocked! 2015’s Kill The Flaw represented a high watermark. Bowing at #13 on the Billboard Top 200, it scored their highest debut on the respective chart since 2010 and marked their fifth consecutive Top 10 on the Top Rock Albums Chart and third straight Top 3 on the Hard Rock Albums Chart. Most impressively, the lead single “Thank You” garnered a nomination in the category of “Best Metal Performance” at the 2016 GRAMMY® Awards, a career first. All I See Is War represents yet another new beginning.
