Die britische Metalcore-Band ARCHITECTS hat ein Live-Video des Songs "Royal Beggars" veröffentlicht. Die Live-Aufnahmen wurden während der Show in der Hamburger Sporthalle am 8. Februar 2019 gefilmt.
Der Track "Royal Beggars" stammt vom aktuellen Album "Holy Hell", welches die Briten im November letzten Jahres auf Epitaph Records veröffentlicht hatten.

BRUTUS - Neuer Song "Django"
Neues Album "Nest" - am 29.04.2019 auf Hassle Records
Die Post-Rock/Shoegaze-Combo BRUTUS veröffentlicht nächste Woche Freitag (29.03.2019) ihr neues Album "Nest" (Hassle Records). Heute hat die belgische Band mit "Django" einen weiteren neuen Song daraus veröffentlicht:
Das Trio um Stefanie Mannaerts (Drummerin und Sängerin) startete vor zwei Jahren mit seinem Debüt "Burst" durch und spielte seit dem u.a. zusammen mit THRICE, CHELSEA WOLFE, RUSSIAN CIRCLES und auch Lars Ulrich /Metallica und Simon Neil /Biffy Clyro verzeichnen sich als Fans.
Einen ersten Eindruck konnte man sich bereit mit dem Live-Session-Video zum Track "War" sowie dem Musikvideo zum Song "Cemetery" verschaffen. Aufgenommen wurden die von Jesse Gander (Japandroids, White Lung, Baptists) produzierten 11 Songs in Vancouver / Kanada.
Bereits ab kommendem Monat ist die Band auch in Deutschland live zu sehen:

Kurz vor Veröffentlichung ihres neuen Albums "The Shape Of Your Name" am 05. April 2019 hat CHARLOTTE CORNFIELD ein neues Musikvideo zum Song "Silver Civic" online gestellt, welches hier angesehen werden kann:
Das Video wurde von Charlottes Bruder Joe Cornfield am Wicklow Beach in Southern Ontario gedreht.
CHARLOTTE CORNFIELD über "Silver Civic":
“this is something I think we have all experienced at some point, that association of an inanimate object with somebody or something, that wave of emotion it brings. And cars, they’re just everywhere. Right after I wrote this song I recorded what I thought was going to be a demo version of this song with my friend Matthew Bailey. And then I tried recording it a bunch more times with different arrangements but that first recording just has the emotion and the rawness. Leif Vollebekk added a piano part and then it just felt finished.” An der Entstehung des neuen Albums "The Shape Of Your Name" waren die Broken Social Scene-Mitgliedern Brendan Canning, Kevin Drew und Charles Spearin sowie der kanadische Songwriter Leif Vollebekk als Gastmusiker beteiligt.
Zuvor hatte die Künstlerin bereits das Video zum Song "Andrew" veröffentlicht.

DANCE GAVIN DANCE - Neuer Song "Head Hunter“ inkl. Video
Die Post-Hardcore Ikonen DANCE GAVIN DANCE veröffentlichen mit "Head Hunter" einen brandneuen Song via Rise Records und präsentieren passend dazu ein sehenswertes "Wild West" Video.

Friday March 22nd, Los Angeles (CA) - Post-Hardcore legends, Dance Gavin Dance, have dropped a brand new track 'Head Hunter' (Rise Records) with a highly entertaining, spaghetti western inspired video that perfectly exhibit's the band's dry sense of humor- watch it here.
'Head Hunter' is yet another exhibition of the band's innate ability to provide a musical palette that is simultaneously light and dark, rough and smooth whilst pushing the limits of experimentation. Jon's ferocious screams combine with Tilian's gloriously melodic choruses and Will's jaw-dropping guitar lines soar over Tim and Matt's complex and thunderous rhythm section.
The brand new track comes a week out from the band's first ever Swanfest, a one-day festival curated and headlined by Dance Gavin Dance and taking place at City National Grove Of Anaheim on March 30th. Last remaining tickets available here
Since their inception in 2005, Dance Gavin Dance has steadily built a phenomenally loyal, cult following. Blending complex instrumentation and time signatures with huge poppy choruses and raw, aggressive screams, Dance Gavin Dance have fathered an entire genre of their own 'Swancore' characterized by their signature combination of elements of math-rock, progressive-rock, and post-rock and aptly named after the band's phenomenal guitarist, Will Swan and his record label Blue Swan Records.

Die US-Alternative-Rock Band PLAGUE VENDOR wird am 07. Juni 2019 ihr neues Album "By Night" auf Epitaph Records veröffentlichen. Produziert wurde der Nachfolger des Debüt "Bloodsweat" aus dem Jahr 2016 von John Congleton (St. Vincent / Chelsea Wolfe).
Als ersten musikalischen Vorboten präsentieren die Amerikaner nun den Opener-Song "New Comedown" samt Video.
Frontmann Brandon Blaine sagt folgendes über den neuen Song:
"When we were writing 'New Comedown,' there were a lot of colors and themes that were coming through, so we thought it best to finalize the verses once we were in the recording studio,” notes the band’s frontman Brandon Blaine. “The energy, urgency, and excitement there was unmatched. We caught lightning in the booth and trapped it in the recording."
