ALLMAN BROWN – Album VÖ heute
Heute erscheint das neue Album "Darling, It’ll Be Alright" des engl Künstlers ALLMAN BROWN.
Der engl Songwriter legte 2017 sein Debüt 1000 Years vor und erreichte unglaublich gute ( um nicht zu sagen: sehr gute) Streaming Zahlen ( weltweit hat er die 80 Millionen Marke überschritten) . Sein ruhiger, melodiöser von der Akustik Gitarre und seiner wunderbaren Stimme geprägter Stil lässt sich durchaus mit seinen Vorbildern Bob Dylan, Tracy Chapman oder aber auch modernen Vertretern wie Ryan Adams, Sufjan Stevens, Iron and Wine oder City & Colour vergleichen.

GLITTERER ist die Rock-Band des TITLE FIGHT Sängers und Bassisten NED RUSSIN, mit "Looking Through The Shades“ erscheint am 12.07. via Anti- Records das Debüt-Album, auf dem u.a. auch seine Brüder Ben Russin und Alex Russin zu hören sind. Bei der Produktion bekam er Unterstützung von (Sandy) Alex G und Arthur Rizk (Code Orange, Power Trip, Sumerlands, the 2018 Grammy Awards).

GHOST IRIS - supporten AFTER THE BURIAL
Die beiden Long Branch Records Bands GHOST IRIS und FROM SORROW TO SERENITY supporten die US-Giganten AFTER THE BURIAL in Deutschland und UK!
Nachdem beide Bands Anfang dieses Jahres ihre neuen Alben veröffentlichten, bleiben GHOST IRIS und FROM SORROW TO SERENITY auch für den Rest des Jahres unter Strom. Während From Sorrow To Serenity in ein paar Tagen BETRAYING THE MARTYRS in Japan supporten und danach eine Headline-Tour in England spielen, sind die dänischen Ghost Iris gerade erst von ihrer Tour mit SOEN und WHEEL zurückgekehrt, nur um nun direkt die mächtigen DREAM THEATER im Juni und Juli bei 3 Daten zu supporten. Heute verkünden beide Bands, dass sie Support für die US Schwergewichte AFTER THE BURIAL bei 6 Shows ihrer 'Evergreen UK/Germany Tour' sein werden. Der direkte Support wird dabei zwischen den Daten wechseln (FSTS in UK, Ghost Iris in Germany).

Neuer Song "Rebellion Story"
Die Punkrock-Ikonen HOT WATER MUSIC kündigen für den 24.05.2019 ihre 5 Song starke EP "Shake Up The Shadows" auf Epitaph Records an.
Gleichzeitig präsentiert das Quartett aus Gainesville mit "Rebellion Story" einen ersten neuen Song der EP:
HOT WATER MUSIC waren nach außen hin bisher nie als politische Band in Erscheinung getreten. Mit den Texten der neuen EP "Shake Up The Shadows" setzt sich die Band nun offensiver für Themen wie Gleichheit und Zusammengehörigkeit ein. Sänger und Gitarrist Chuck Ragan erklärt:
“I think we're living in a really volatile and terrifying time where people are turning a blind eye to the hatred that's happening in this world and thinking of themselves rather than the big picture. I think that sentiment is present in these new songs the way it has always kind of been there in our music.”

ISSUES - Neuer Song "Tapping Out"
Die US-Nu-Metal-Band ISSUES präsentiert mit dem Song "Tapping Out" das erste neue Material seit Veröffentlichung des letzten Albums "Headspace" (Rise Records) im Jahr 2016. Der Track kann hier angehört werden:
Wie von ISSUES gewohnt, lassen die Amerikaner auch im neuen Song alle klassische Genregrenzen hinter sich und bieten dem Hörer stattdessen einen furiosen Mix aus Metalcore-Heaviness, Hip-Hop-Slang, Alternative-Elementen und Pop-Appeal.
Die Band sagt über "Tapping Out":
"We couldn't be more thrilled to finally release new music! "'Tapping Out' is not only a highly anticipated drop for us, but lyrically highlights the struggles of trying to make something work time and time again. Eventually, you just want to tap out. Neues Album "By Night" am 07.06.2019 auf Epitaph Records
Die US-Garage-Indie-Rock Band PLAGUE VENDOR wird am 07. Juni 2019 ihr neues Album "By Night" auf Epitaph veröffentlichen. Aufgenommen wurde der Longplayer mit Hilfe von John Congleton (St. Vincent / Chelsea Wolfe) in den legendären EastWest Studios (Brian Wilson, Ozzy Osbourne, Iggy Pop). Für Freunde von The Hives, Iggy & The Stooges etc nur zu empfehlen!
Knapp einen Monat vor dem Albumrelease präsentieren die Amerikaner nun mit "Let Me Get High\Low" einen weiteren neuen Track:

Aktuelles Top 15 - Chart-Album "Mittelfinger Für Immer“
Nach dem Chart-Erfolg ihres aktuellen Albums "Mittelfinger Für Immer“ (Platz #14 der offiziellen Album-Charts ) sowie der fulminanten fast restlos ausverkauften Headliner-Tournee, die die Düsseldorfer ROGERS durch ausverkaufte Venues in Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz führte, bereitet sich die sympathische Punkrock-Band mittlerweile auf die anstehende Festival-Saison vor, bevor es wieder etwas ruhiger werden kann.
Doch die ROGERS wären nicht die ROGERS, wenn sie nicht noch ein besonderes Konzert-Highlight für ihre unermüdliche und treue Fanbase ausgetüftelt hätten: Zum Jahresende wird noch einmal alles ausgepackt, was Herz und Hände hergeben. Die beiden( Post-) Hardcore/Alternative- Genregrößen THRICE und REFUSED kündigen für November eine gemeinsame Co-Headliner-Tour an. Dabei spielen die Bands ausgewählte Shows in ganz Europa - vier davon in Deutschland:

THRICE, die als eine der innovativsten Rockbands unserer Zeit gelten, hatten im letzten Jahr ihr neuestes Album "Palms" auf Epitaph Records veröffentlicht. Die schwedische Hardcore-Band REFUSED, die mit ihrem Album "The Shape Of Punk To Come" ein ganzes Genre neu definierte, veröffentlichte ihr letztes Werk "Freedom" im Jahr 2015, ebenfalls auf Epitaph Records. Für viele Fans findet hier also ein Bandpackage der Superlative zusammen.

W_FESTIVAL (Belgien) vom 15.08 - 18.08. alle Bands bestätigt
Vom 15 - 18.08. findet im belgischen Waregem das W-Fest statt. Ein Festival für alle Freunde von Wave, Gothic, Synth und 80er Klängen, mit einer schier unglaublichen Bandauswahl, die in dieser Form einmalig ist.
Besonderen Wert legen die Festivalmacher auf eine gemütliche Atmosphäre und ein umfangreiches Begleitprogramm. Auch die Camping Situation ist sehr vielfältig und bietet diverse Möglichkeiten von klassisch bis luxuriös.

New York City’s Xenia Rubinos is thrilled to share her Spanish language cover ofThe Clash’s classic song “Should I Stay Or Should I Go”, personally approved by The Clash’s lead guitarist Mick Jones. Listen to Rubinos’ rendition of the song HERE.
Rubinos was approached to cover the song by documentary film directors Lindsey Cordero and Armando Croda for their film I’m Leaving Now (Ya Me Voy) which debuted at the Hot Docs Film Festival last year. Shot over two years in the heart of Brooklyn’s immigrant community, I’m Leaving Now (Ya Me Voy) is a searingly intimate portrait of one undocumented worker on the margins. A blend of documentary with some fictional elements, the film allows the rhythms, emotions and sounds of Felipe’s life and the city to drive the story, utilizing a structure and a style often not seen in documentaries.
“I am a translator, I have been my whole life,” Xenia began when explaining why singing this time-honored song in Spanish is important to her. “Many of my most foundational memories as an infant and young child are in Spanish; it was my only spoken language understandable to others until I was 3 when I began learning English at preschool by playing with other kids there. [My family] insisted that I needed to only speak Spanish at the beginning, because the rest of my life would be in English and it was important for me to be able to communicate and that being bilingual would be an important skill when I joined the American workforce.”
