Weitere Info:
This week again, Jera On Air added a fair amount of little gems to its already impressive line-up. And then Parkway Drive has also been booked as a headliner. Next to this, we will also see Agnostic Front, Comeback Kid, BillyBIO, No Fun At All, First Blood, Amsterdam Red Light District, Landmvrks, Ploegendienst, Counting Coins, Polar and Random Hand in Ysselsteyn during the weekend of the 27th until the 29th of June. The biggest alternative festival in our country already impressed before by announcing bands such as Sum 41, Architects, Heideroosjes and Hatebreed. Before mentioned bands are only a small percentage of the complete line-up. Go to www.jeraonair.nl where you can find, next to ticket sales information, also the complete line-up.

Parkway Drive, a metalcore giant from Byron Bay Australia and Jera On Air, a festival in Ysselsteyn the North of Limburg that still relies on volunteers. At first glance two worlds apart, but nothing is as it seems. As, after its first edition in 1992, Jera On Air grew year after year to become the biggest festival in the alternative scene, Parkway Drive did the same in their respect and grew steadily over the years. Already in 2013 it was clear booking Parkway Drive as festival headliner was golden. They just made name for themselves and were gaining an ever increasing fan base on the European mainland.

Just like Jera On Air kept growing, so did Parkway Drive. Their fan base kept increasing and soon they were playing bigger venues and festivals. After their excellent show at Jera On Air 2013 we saw them back at Rock Am Ring, Sziget and Groezrock. Even better, last Wednesday they performed at the almost completely sold-out Afas Live. This, in the light of promoting their most recent album ‘Reverence’. At the festival meadow at the end of June you are going to hear new work from the band, but without a doubt they will also play their greatest hits.

Announcing the last headliner was not the only news the organization shared with you. The American hardcore punkers of Agnostic Front are still going strong after 35 years. They will prove this once again at Jera On Air. Also booking Comeback Kid doesn’t need any further explanation. The Canadian punkers have been enjoying years of success with their contagious sound. The same goes for No Fun At All: great catchy pop punk mixed with a harder sound. The band is made to play Jera On Air.

Next to this, the name of BillyBIO catches the eye. The new project of Biohazard singer Billy Graziadei is a big hit. The same goes for the hardcore of First Blood. This round we have also seen, Counting Coins, Random Hand, Amsterdam Red Light District, Polar, Bad Omens, Landmvrks and Ploegendienst in the Jera On Air line-up. With all this the festival outdoes itself once again, and seems to have made another step this year.
